Ms. Ssonia Deshmukh, the director of Kala’s Dance Academy is a visionary Woman. Over the years she has trained thousands of students and, with her creative knowledge base she has successfully directed & choreographed 350+ annual concerts of multiple corporates and educational institutes.

For her remarkable work & success in the industry, she has been recognized by the Global Business Awards where she achieved the title of the ‘Best Dance Director of Navi Mumbai’ in October, 2019. The award was presented by Madhuri Dixit Nene – her idol & inspiration for Dance.

Ms. Ssonia Deshmukh, Director, Kala’s Dance Academy is the first youngest Woman Entrepreneur of Navi Mumbai in the field of Dance. With her iconic personality she has been a guiding light to various young learners.

Towards her journey of success, in March 2019, she was honored with the title of  ‘Youngest Successful Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2018’ in Navi Mumbai by International Excellence Awards, Malaysia. The award was presented by the gorgeous Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Kala’s Dance Academy has been a platform for not only young learners but also for all those who wish to pursue Dance as a passion and career. The Academy has been awarded as the ‘Best Dance Academy in Navi Mumbai’ by The International Fame Awards in Nov 2018.

The award was presented by the gorgeous Diva, Miss. Universe Sushmita Sen to Ms. Ssonia Deshmukh (Director) of the academy. This recognition is the glory and victory of a decade long hard work and dedication that she has taken to raise this academy and achieve her dream of giving her best.

Kala’s Dance Academy is in Affiliation with the Educational Board, Maharashtra.

It is an AUTHORIZED TRAINING CENTRE to conduct Dance as a Certified Course.

Kala’s is the only Western Dance Academy in Navi Mumbai which is affiliated to the Educational Board.

Nothing makes us more grateful than to have had the opportunity to be of service to the nation. It fills our heart with immense joy to have worked with the Rapid Action Force, India.

Kala’s was chosen to train the RAF team 102 Battalion, Maharashtra to represent in the National Raising Day, that took place in Meerut, in the year 2021.

It was a refreshing task indeed for the Kala’s team to train the fighters of the country to move with their grooves. With their fighting spirit, and our determination, The 102 Battalion, Maharashtra team bagged the 2nd position in the country.

As they say there’s always a first time to everything, for them it was stepping out of their comfort zone and dancing, for some it was the very first time, and for us it was forming Demo and making them dance. It was a sweet fruit of labour in the end.

Kala’s Dance Academy also provides online classes for Western Dance Styles, Classical Style – Kathak and Zumba Fitness Program.
